makinaV3
The band project makinaV3 was born in the context of the famous "Boris Vian-Surprise Party-Evenings" in the Polittbüro Hamburg. Rainer Sell had the idea to produce original jazz samples together with modern beats and basses. Therefore he remixes old music from traditional jazz recordings in clicks- and cuts-style. In the live-act the primary instruments from the New Orleans-Style are laid on this technoid grounding and manipulated by effects. Sequencer, trombone, clarinet, washboard and vocals combine electronic and acoustic elements so that digital and analog music, old and new sounds melt into each other.
